2.1. Advantages and Disadvantages of Quantitative Methods

Advantages Disadvantages
You can collect data from a large sample of people. Closed answers
You can analyse the data relatively quickly and easily, especially if you are using software packages such as Excel, STATA, SPSS, etc. No in-depth information. Responses to the questions are generally not explained.
It does not require a lot of money if a survey is used and administered online or in person. Larger scope for possible misinterpretation by the reader
